What is a workspace?

An individual workspace is where you manage all of your channels, campaigns and analytics for one brand. The workspace can be your brand, a products, or a client. Team admins have the ability to manage all workspaces. The workspace admins can only manage the workspace that is assigned to them, they do not have access to other workspaces. Subscriptions and billing offers are based on individual workspace needs.

Which channels does Emitto support?

Currently, all of our plans support SMS, Web Push, and Viber for Business (as an additional add-on). Take note that Facebook Messenger for Publishers is only available through our Boost plan.

Do you offer volume discounts?

How does Emitto pricing work?

Emitto offers several plans which you pick based on the needs of your business. Our monthly and annual plans allow you to save money based on the volume of your monthly or yearly commitments. Each plan comes with monthly rollover Credits. If needed, Top-up Credits are always available to purchase. ( The price per Credit is lower for higher plans ).
*The amount of Credits that are used per message, depends on the destination country and choice of channel.

What is a credit?

It's a form of currency. We charge each message you send to each contact with credits. For example, for the US and Canada, it would cost 1 credit to send 1 SMS message. How many Credits are used per message depends on the destination country. Details about messaging costs can be found here: https://emitto.io/sms-message-cost Each plan come with free monthly Credits. Once you spend these credits, top-up is available and the price is based on the plan you are using

What credits are included with plans?

Each plan come with free Credits that are included in your plan alongside a monthly Credit rollover. Depending on the plan that you choose, you can get up to 12500 Credits per month!

What happens to the credits I don't spend?

The Credits you dont spend get "rolled over" and are available for you to spend for that upcoming month. This is a feature supported with all plans. All Credits are accumulated on your workspace until you choose to spend them.

Can I purchase more credits?

Once all of the Credits included in your plan are spent, Credit topup is available with every plan. Higher plans get a lower price per Credit. With our Boost plan, this can get as low as $0.015 per credit.

Will I be charged for inbound messages?

Just as with outbound messages, all inbound messages are charged regularly as well. Our Boost plan supports incoming messages at no cost.

How much does an SMS cost?

The cost of an SMS message depends on the destination country. For the US and Canada, the cost is 1 Credit per SMS message. All details regarding messaging costs can be found here: https: //emitto.io/sms-message-cost

How do I estimate how many credits I need?

Emitto has a built-in cost estimation engine. This shows exactly how much your capaign will cost to run, as well as if you need to top-up on credits. We also have a calculator that can give you a rough estimate and campaign cost preview that can be found here: https://emitto.io/pricing/#calculator

What carrier fees do you charge?

Carrier fees may appear only when sending an SMS message to the US via T-Mobile network. Other than that, Emitto does not charge any carrier fees.

Are there any set-up fees?

Emitto does not charge any set-up fees.

Can I change my plan?

You can upgrade your plan at any time.

Do you offer a discount for annual billing?

A 20% discount is applied when you choose annual billing.

What is the difference between outbound and inbound messages?

Outbound messages are messages that you send to a customer. Inbound messages are the replies that you recieve from customers.

What is the difference between the Tester and Starter plan?

The main difference is the number of Monthly Credits that are included and price per top-up Credit. On the Tester plan, you are only able to have 1 team member. The Starter plan includes a presonalization feature which can be used to create personlized bulk campaigns. What is the difference between Starter and Essentials plan?

The Essentials plan is our most wanted and common subscription choice for our customers. On the Essentials plan, the price per topup Credit gets lower and the amount of monthly included Credits increases. Also, your available team members raise from 2 to unlimited. What is the difference between Essentials and Boost plan?

The Boost plan is meant for businesses with high customer demand and need for constant customer support. The Boost plan also supports extended campaign history time and in-depth campaign insights. As for the price of top-up credits, 1 credit is $0.015 and monthly you get 12500 credits along with credit rollover. I need to see a performance report of my campaigns. Which plan do I need to access this feature?

Do I need a phone number to use Emitto for texting?

Depends on the destination country. Some countries may not require you to have a phone number. In this case you can use an Alphanumeric ID instead and a full list of countries that support Alphanumeric ID can be found here: https://emitto.io/sms-alphanumeric-availability/

How do I get additional phone numbers

On your individual Emitto workspace you can purchase virtual phone numbers that are used for texting in certain countries. Each plan comes with a US phone number included. Each additional US phone number can be added at a $25/year subscription. Emitto also supports using non-US phone numbers. What is an Alphanumeric ID?

Can I add multiple numbers?

Each plan has a US phone number included. Any additional phone numbers a available for an added fee. For example, US phone numbers are priced at $25/year.

Which countries is Emitto available in?

Emitto is available for use and supported in over 150 countries. That means your messages can be sent globally.

Is Emitto GDPR compliant?
